BOYS! BOYS! BOYS! MEETS ... Charles Moriarty, Photographer

Charles Moriarty is from Dublin, Ireland, but moved to London at the age of 18. In 2003, he started working as a photographer in the music industry.

He famously photographed iconic singer Amy Winehouse for the cover of her debut album Frank.

In 2017 he self published his first book, Before Frank, revealing for the first time many of his unpublished photographs of Amy Winehouse. In 2018 the book was republished by Octopus Publishing, under the new title, Back to Amy, with over 50 new photos added and insightful interviews with people close to Amy.

In 2020 he published his highly acclaimed book X - ten years of photographing men. This was followed in 2021 by Photographers on the Art of Photography published by ACC Art Books.

His work is part of the permanent collection at the National Portrait Gallery (London). 

In 2022 Charles was short listed for the British Journal of Photography’s Portrait of Humanity and his work was selected as part of the Royal Hibernian Academy’s Summer Show in Ireland.

He has been part of BOYS! BOYS! BOYS! since 2021.

His new book BROCK will be available on the evening.

Doors open at 6pm, the event begins at 6.30pm and ends by 7.45pm. Then we have until 8.30pm to chat with our guest, mingle & drink & enjoy the BOYS! BOYS! BOYS! Gallery Café.
