Italian photographer Domenico Cennamo began his career in the arts as a painter, which helps to explain his use of color, sense of composition, contrasts of light and dark, and narrative elements.

Cennamo moved into the world of photography having worked in the fashion world as a model agent. After several years he felt the urge to see his models photographed in a different way, and began working first as a fashion and then fine art photographer.
