Yves De Brabander is a Belgian photographer whose Bring The Boys Back Home series is a modern twist on the classical paintings, but here depicting the modern soldier as martyrs and saints, combined with the eroticism of men in uniform, questioning privilege, gender and power. For De Brabander all soldiers are the same, serving their country, and protecting its values.
