Accommodation
Set in the serene Tarn countryside, this beautifully restored hamlet, designed by renowned interiors and textile designer Kathryn Ireland, blends rustic charm with luxurious modern comforts. It is one of the finest properties in the region located on the outskirts of the village of Cahuzac sur Vere dating back to the 12th century. As featured in House & Garden, the stunning property includes lush gardens, a heated outdoor pool, and spacious indoor and outdoor spaces perfect for relaxation and creativity.
The region
The retreat will take place in and around Cahuzac sur Vere in the heart of the Tarn. The Tarn is a department in the Occitania region of Southern France. Famous for its pink garlic, the local wines and vineyards, and the medieval hilltop 'Bastide' towns such as Cordes sur Ciel, Puycelsi, Bruniquel and Castelnau de Montmiral, dating from the Cathar wars. Local history from this time is fascinating and reflected in the grandeur of the cathedral in Albi. Between majestic mountains, green valleys and renowned vineyards, the Tarn offers a variety of breathtaking scenery. This is authentic rural France away from the tourists of Provence.
